Black Spyral Dancer is back together!!

I am sooo excited! I love to watch Alex, Justin and Majed play on stage and I can't wait to hear them new and improved!

Until then... here's a video I took a few years ago. The quality is not all that wonderful, of course, but you can at least get an idea of their sound.

Look for updates on FB and go see them!!!

Did you know???

An earthquake on Dec. 16, 1811 sent the Mississippi River backwards.

Stonehenge mystery may have been solved

Stonehenge may have been the place to rock out at trippy

Neolithic concerts of sorts — and that may explain why the mysterious circle of stones was erected.

A U.S. researcher suggests that the architects of Stonehenge were inspired by magical "auditory illusions" the stones could produce, according to a Live Science report.

Steven Waller, a researcher who specializes in the sound properties of ancient sites, is challenging common Stonehenge theories that the site was intended for spiritual worship and ceremonial burials.

Never give up

Michael Jordan: Most people wouldn't believe that a man often lauded as the best basketball player of all time was actually cut from his high school basketball team. Luckily, Jordan didn't let this setback stop him from playing the game and he has stated, "I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot, and I missed. I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."

The grandbabies looked super cute today....

...so I put them on the stairs and snapped a few photos - hoping to catch something that would look good on the wall.

I forgot how hard it is to get your own kids (I'm way better at getting other peoples kids) to look happy at the exact same time -- or even to look at the camera at the same time.

After more than 2 dozen shots, I gave up. Here's my fav's.

The photo in the black with the yellow bow is Chrissy's kindergarten photo. My favorite of her school photos. I still have that outfit. Hopefully Iz will wear it when she starts school too.

My two youngest granddarlings. Yep. This is as good as it got!

Charles Schultz: Schultz's Peanuts comic strip has had enduring fame, yet this cartoonist had every cartoon he submitted rejected by his high school yearbook staff. Even after high school, Schultz didn't have it easy, applying and being rejected for a position working with Walt Disney.

Whoever says this hasn't met my son!

I disagree that homeschooled kids are unsocialized. My son is around all kinds of people - of all ages - all the time.

Just like her mama!

Darling granddaughter Shelby likes to hang with Nana... cause I give her a LAZY DAY. The couch + PJ's + the remote + snacks... all day long. No worries... just lounging around. She loves it!!
