Oh-so proud of my eldest son

I am sooo psyched!! - and proud - of my son, Alex, who will open his own tattoo studio within the next month or two on Stimson Ave in Athens!

He is taking over the Hammer of the Gods spot and reopening the shop as THE WHITE RABBIT!

I checked out the place on Friday and it looks SWEET! They're busy painting and redecorating ... and I cannot  wait until it's done! 

And I can't wait to sit in his chair and get some new ink on my arms. I'm itchin' to be decorated in Marilyn's beautiful face!

I'll let you know when the shop opens.

Ode to Miss Maddie Mae

Anyone who knows me knows how close I am to my 9-year-old Corgi, Miss Maddie Mae.

And anyone who knows me will not be surprised to hear that due to Maddie needing surgery today and the possibility of her having cancer (I write with a shiver)... I am staying home on Turkey Day to make sure she wears her cone and leaves her stitches alone.. and she doesn't feel so awful while healing.

She's worth it though. I doubt if I get another 9 years with her. (sigh)... but I'll take all the time I can get.

Nothing will ever be able to replace her.

Please send her some good vibes! We both would really appreciate it.
