It is MY superbowl.
Since I was 18 years old I have watched every election closely - tallying up the votes as each state went either red or blue.
Tonight will be no different.
I have red, white and blue balloons hanging in my house.
I have a big poster of the Electoral College Map.
I have the below kids map - so Silas and color in each state as it goes either red (ugh) or blue (yay!!)
I have a chalkboard to keep tally of the total votes.
And I have a tally sheet for Silas to list the states as they come in.
Oh... and a lesson plan, blue tshirts, Obama paper puppets, confetti and tons of healthy snacks.
Yep. I'm ready!
