Watched The Invisible Man - which is based on the H.G. Wells classic.
Though this film is from 1933, the special effects used to scare me as a child. Now that I'm older, the movie doesn't scare me, but it did entertain me immensely.
I do have a soft spot for ole' H.G. I read that he smelled like honey, hated sycamore trees, didn't think he was a great writer, he was a socialist and he wrote some great science fiction - The Time Machine, The Island of Dr Moreau, and War of the Worlds.
No wonder the (brilliant) TV show - Warehouse 13 - created a HG (tho Helena) Wells character. What a great way to pay homage to this amazing author.
