A great photo technique is framing within a frame. In the photos above, I used the outside of the windows to act as my frame, with the main subject being the windows themselves. You can do this with just about anything, and even people. Photograph a person inside an actual frame, or looking out a window, and you have created a frame for your subject. The eye will go right to where you want it to be.
