It's been black around these parts

 We had some super bad storms come through and we've been without power for quite a while. Lucky for us, we have a generator which can run the frig, deep freezer, TV, a light or two, a fan or two,  and even the computer from time to time- tho we have no internet or cell phone service.

We are some of the lucky ones. Others have lost all their refrigerated foods or don't even have a fan to stay cool - and it's the hottest week of the summer. 

Grandkids came over to hang out and they have had a lot of fun.
