Silas got to hear the president speak yesterday!!

 Silas was absolutely thrilled to spend the day waiting in line to hear President Obama speak in Athens, Ohio yesterday. Thousands of people were there and we had to wait in some incredibly long lines, but his enthusiasm never once wavered. I was so blessed to share this experience with him! Plus, in 1992 I was pregnant with my son Jake and I took Chrissy and Alex out of school so they could hear Hilliary Clinton speak in Athens. They still remember it and Chrissy was about that same age.
