killing spree in Connecticut is...
It's not about putting God back in school
and it's not about deregulating guns -
God is subjective and guns don't pull their own triggers...
it's about having a better mental health system in place
and not having so much stigma attached to mental issues
(and going in for help).
Most of these killers who go out on these massive murdering sprees
are boys between 18 and 26 and that's when most of the
mental health crisis will show up.
It's terrible.
It's painful.
It's awful.
And it makes me sick.
We need to invest more money in this country into mental health resources
and encourage those who are troubled to see help.
Maybe then all this will end.
My heart goes out to all those parents and grandparents and aunts and uncles and friends who lost someone they loved. It's so very terrible. So very, very terrible.
My heart also goes out to the brother and father of the triggerman.
Okay.. I am done. I will say no more. I just wanted to comment on all the current comments I've been receiving via email and facebook about this subject.
And now we return to our regular programming... because I need to dry my eyes.
