At this year's Appalachian Color in the Hills Festival, Whey Jennings (grandson of Waylon Jennings) played Friday night and he was not only fantastic, he was personable and very down to earth. He played a great set, then stayed around, signing autographs and posing for photos. Then he hung out until like 3am playing guitar with some locals and giving them a show to remember.
This guy has a lot of fans in our little town. Hope he comes back next year!
My son, nephew and granddaughter LOVED Whey!

The guitar must come with the voice, the looks, and the personality. Pray that all three will happen. Love you, Whey Jennings. Waylon paid a heavy price for the name "Jennings".
